The Home Depot names Andersen its ‘Environmental Partner of the Year’

Andersen Corporation, manufacturer of America's most loved brand of windows and doors*, has been named The Home Depot’s 2025 Environmental Partner of the Year at its annual Innovation Awards. This prestigious honor recognizes our leadership in sustainable innovation, responsible manufacturing, and our commitment to delivering energy-efficient solutions that benefit both homeowners and trade professionals.

This award highlights the strength of the nearly 25-year collaboration between Andersen and The Home Depot, and our shared commitment to meeting the needs of today without sacrificing tomorrow’s needs.

“Our relationship with The Home Depot continues to thrive because we’re united by shared values — especially our commitment to sustainability and delivering exceptional customer experiences. By aligning on sustainable innovation and customer-first solutions, we’re unlocking new opportunities for growth and creating lasting value for homeowners and pros across the country.”

Lamar Anderson, senior vice president and general manager, The Home Depot business at Andersen

In 2024, Andersen was recognized by The Home Depot as an Eco Actions Partner for our sustainable business practices and operations. As The Home Depot’s only Eco Actions Partner in the windows and doors industry, Andersen stands among a select group of manufacturers driving meaningful environmental impact.

Collaboration at Greenbuild 2025

Earlier this week Andersen’s Chief Sustainability Officer George Bandy, Jr., led an engaging chat at Greenbuild 2025 with Candace Rodriguez, Senior Director of Sustainability at The Home Depot, and Brandon Berg, Andersen’s Senior Vice President, Research, Development and Innovation.

Greenbuild 2025’s Resilient Design Summit was sponsored by both companies and served as a powerful reminder of how industry collaboration can drive real change — from supply chain strength to workforce development. The discussion explored how to build with resilient design to create smarter, safer, and more sustainable communities.

“To be sustainable is to answer: ‘how do we design not just for something to last but to perform consistently year after year in its environment?’ We have a 122-year legacy of durability and longevity at Andersen that has been a core principle of our product development from the start.”

George Bandy, Jr., chief sustainability officer at Andersen
