Continuing the Evolution of the Andersen® 400 Series Product Line

The Andersen 400 Series product line product line has long been one of the company's most trusted and enduring.  Throughout 2026, Andersen continued to invest in the portfolio, expanding design and performance options across existing products.

This year’s 400 Series product updates expand design and performance options, including expanded nationwide availability of triple-pane glass on select products, along with new triple-pane glass options for double-hung, picture and transom windows; black interior and exterior color options for patio doors; factory-applied interior wood trim for double-hung and picture windows; and contemporary grille profiles for casement and tilt-wash double-hung windows.

"Additional 400 Series triple-pane glass offerings help builders and homeowners achieve ambitious energy-efficiency goals while making it easier to maintain consistent performance across complete window packages. This expansion reflects our continued investment in the 400 Series product portfolio. For decades, we've evolved and enhanced these products with new design options, improved performance and innovations that help meet changing customer needs while preserving the craftsmanship, reliability and versatility that have made the 400 Series product line one of Andersen's most trusted and enduring window and door collections."

Expanded Choice Across the Portfolios

Across its 100 Series offerings, Andersen also expanded opportunities for homeowners and building professionals to personalize projects through new design options, customization capabilities and broader product availability.

These enhancements respond to growing interest in more personalized homes and greater design flexibility. Zillow research found that 35% of new construction buyers specifically sought a home they could customize during construction.

Among the updates, a new custom radius option for 100 Series equal-leg arch windows gives builders and homeowners greater flexibility to match existing openings or create distinctive architectural configurations, while a new black sill option for 100 Series gliding patio doors provides another way to create a cohesive appearance with contemporary interior finishes.
