Window and Door Magazine has recognized Andersen's response to the COVID-19 pandemic in its Innovation in Crisis feature shared this month.
The magazine pivoted its annual award program to highlight stories of innovation in a time of crisis from all corners of the fenestration market during the COVID-19 pandemic. Andersen stood out in four categories: employee safety and communication, customer communication, manufacturing pivots and charitable actions.
"One thing we have learned this past year is that our ability to react quickly and adjust course is not just a survival strategy, it can lead to the types of innovation and transformation that allow us to thrive in the midst of adversity," said Jay Lund, Andersen's CEO and chairman.
