Andersen Corporation, America’s premier window and door manufacturer, has completed the previously announced sale of its hollow core vinyl window and patio door business, including the Silver Line and American Craftsman brands, to Ply Gem, a leading North American manufacturer of exterior building products. The transaction closed on Oct. 14, 2018.
As announced on Aug. 28, 2018, this divestiture is part of Andersen’s broader strategy to sharpen its focus on its Andersen®, Renewal by Andersen® and specialty brands; continue to make significant investments in its fast-growing, proprietary, Fibrex® engineered composite products; and deliver exceptional value to customers.
