Modern Farmhouse Living in the City

Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

AVE Blue Bell PA is a thoughtfully designed luxury apartment community offering flexible rental solutions for a variety of living situations. Whether the customer is looking for a more permanent solution or is in between homes, AVE Blue Bell makes them feel like home.

The styling of the apartments at AVE Blue Bell was inspired by “warmth, simplicity, and the market’s rich history” says Christina Salvitti, interior designer with architect Bernardon. It was AVE and Bernardon’s vision to design an apartment that was modern, yet approachable, blending sophistication and natural elements. The use of natural wood tones and farmhouse elements like the lattice pattern nightstands, reminiscent of 18th century barn doors, all contributed to the overall feeling of warmth.

The modern farmhouse style didn’t end with the interior fixtures. The window choice, while looking modern outside with the black finish, tells a different story on the inside. The white interior finish and single-hung design reflects a more traditional comforting style that would usually be seen in a single-family home. Jeffrey Brown, VP of Korman Communities, said “A number of our customers are downsizing from larger single-family homes to AVE Blue Bell to have more manageable spaces with plenty of amenities on hand. But that doesn’t mean they want it to feel any less like home. Our choice of Andersen® 100 Series single-hung windows helps to create that feeling of home that they’re used to seeing.
