We are committed to supporting our communities through employee volunteerism and donation of funds and products.

Andersen® Corporate Foundation

The Andersen Corporate Foundation was established in 1941 with the mission to improve lives and strengthen communities, primarily where Andersen employees live and work. Since then, the foundation has donated more than $60 million to worthy causes. The Andersen Corporate Foundation supports organizations that focus in the following areas:

  • Affordable Housing
  • Health and Safety
  • Education and Youth Development
  • Human Services
  • Civic Support

Application Process

Current Grantee
Submit a full proposal on the posted deadlines using the provided Application Form.

By Invitation Only
Inquiry Forms are accepted for the following situations:
1. Your organization has not received prior support from Andersen Corporate Foundation.
2. Your organization has requested support in the past and your request has been declined.
3. Your organization is seeking capital project support. This includes organizations that have received support in the past or are currently receiving operating or project support.

If any of the three items listed above apply to your organization, please complete the Inquiry Form and email it to If your inquiry fits within the foundation’s funding priorities, you will receive an invitation to submit an application. There are no deadlines for submitting an Inquiry Form.

The Andersen corporate giving program provides support to qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the communities where our employees live and work. Donations of windows and/or doors are focused primarily on single family, owner-occupied affordable housing initiatives.

Focus areas include:

  • Affordable Housing
    Andersen Corporation supports organizations that provide single family, owner-occupied affordable housing to low-income individuals and families.

  • Health and Safety
    Andersen Corporation supports organizations that promote safe and healthy environments, as well as organizations that seek to improve health through prevention and education programs, primarily for young people, senior citizens and people with disabilities.

  • Education and Youth Development
    Andersen Corporation supports organizations that offer intellectual and social opportunities, primarily for K-12 students with a focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math).

  • Human Services
    Andersen Corporation contributes to organizations that enhance self-sufficiency for people living in poverty, senior citizens and people with disabilities.

  • Civic
    Andersen Corporation supports organizations that build, promote and preserve communities.

  • Environmental
    Andersen Corporation focuses on nonprofits whose efforts support sustainable forestry, affordable housing, energy efficiency and sustainable communities. We prioritize organizations that seek to solve a specific environmental issue and engage and educate key stakeholders.

    Geographic focus area:

    Organizations located in Andersen’s headquarters region (St. Paul/Minneapolis, St. Croix Valley including western Wisconsin).
