Andersen Recruits Top Talent from the People of Color Career Fair
Andersen joined efforts in the People of Color Career Fair to engage diverse job-seekers.
Andersen once again participated in the People of Color Career Fair on April 24, 2024, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Recruiters and hiring managers shared our company culture and values and looked to fill job openings with Andersen and Renewal by Andersen. In addition to attending Andersen’s booth, the event featured free professional headshots, professional networking opportunities, onsite interviews and casual conversation areas.
While Brianna Rosochacki doesn’t recruit new employees for Andersen, she played the role well at the People of Color Career Fair. Engaging people in Andersen’s booth, she connected with job seekers interested in a potential future with Andersen. It was just one year ago that she was in that same position.
When looking for an in-person networking opportunity in 2022, the People of Color Career Fair popped up on LinkedIn for Brianna. “I had the opportunity to talk to an Andersen recruiter and explained that my passion is to go into HR. A few days later, I looked on Andersen’s career website, saw a senior HR business analyst position open and decided to apply. From there, it all fell into place,” said Brianna, who brings her unique skillsets to the HR team working as a senior human resources business analyst.
Andersen is proud to be a founding sponsor of the People of Color Careers platform, created and hosted by Sharon Smith-Akinsanya, CEO of Rae MacKenzie Group. In 2023, Brianna shared her story with Smith-Akinsanya, saying the career fair shined a light on employers like Andersen who are serious and committed to inclusion.
Brianna said what has fueled her passion has been participating in the Asian Cultures Together employee resource network (ERN). “I was asked to be part of the Asian Adoptees Panel which was a great opportunity. Since joining the group, I've been able to witness Andersen's true mission on DEI and how every individual has a different story to tell, yet somehow, we are all connected. Andersen is truly a diverse and inclusive family,” she said.
Andersen has earned accolades including being named one of ‘America’s Best Employers for Women’ for the second consecutive year by Forbes and One of ‘America's Greatest Workplaces’ by Newsweek.
