Nordaune Recognized as Board Member of the Year and Notable Woman in Law

Andersen Corporation Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary Andrea Nordaune was recently recognized as Board Member of the Year by Seramount as part of its Women of Excellence Awards and as a Notable Woman in Law by Twin Cities Business (TCB).

Seramount’s annual Women of Excellence Awards honor the accomplishments of women who have achieved success in their own careers and demonstrated commitment to the success of other women and/or girls.

Andrea was recognized as Board Member of the Year for her work to drive change in an impactful way. She serves on the board of directors of the YMCA of the North, helping guide the organization to better serve the youth, adults, families and seniors in the greater Twin Cities metro region, southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin so all can thrive. She utilizes her knowledge, skills and expertise along with her continued commitment to the community in which Andersen employees live and work to make system changes essential to address social injustices and inequities.

TCB’s Notable Women in Law award honors exemplary professionals who handle complex transactions and use their expertise to guide a variety of transactions and clients through obstacles. They also are instrumental in serving as mentors, doing pro bono work that addresses social and economic causes, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

Andrea joined Andersen as a senior attorney in 2003. She was promoted to Deputy General counsel in 2019 and became Vice President and General Counsel for the Renewal Division in 2021. She serves as a member of Andersen’s executive committee. Andrea also serves as the company’s representative on the board of directors of the industry’s principal trade group, the Window & Door Manufacturers Association, and was recently elected to the executive committee of that organization. Andrea received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and American Studies from St. Olaf College and her J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
