Andersen Windows Recognizes Shepley Wood Products with First Annual Dealer Community Service Award

Andersen Windows has awarded its first annual Dealer Community Service Award to Shepley Wood Products. The Dealer Community Service Award honors an authorized Andersen dealer for significant contributions to their community through volunteerism, philanthropy and innovation.

“Shepley Wood Products has been a dedicated ally of Andersen for over 30 years,” said Grant Davis, vice president and general manager of Andersen’s Residential and Commercial Pro Division. “They have continued to exemplify Andersen’s core values through their work to improve healthcare, human services, education and housing in their community.”

A building material supplier and authorized Andersen Windows dealer located in Cape Cod, Mass., Shepley Wood Products focuses on providing customers a balance in price, quality, durability and serviceability in the products they sell, with environmental impact in mind.

Shepley was selected by Andersen leaders to receive the Dealer Community Service Award based on the company’s dedication to helping solve critical issues in their community. They support a range of critical service organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Housing Assistance Corporation, Cape Cod Healthcare, Calmer Choice and more. Their signature philanthropic event, the Shepley Wide Open Charity Golf Event, has raised over three quarters of a million dollars for agencies in the Cape Cod community over the past 23 years. In 2018, the event supported 11 beneficiaries.

The Dealer Community Service Award includes a $5,000 donation from Andersen Corporation to a charity of the dealer’s choice.

“We view charitable giving and community involvement as our opportunity to pay our ‘civic rent,’” said Tony Shepley, owner and president of Shepley Wood Products. “This reinvestment in our community helps keep it healthy and balanced, which in turn improves the lives of everyone who lives here.”

Corporate Citizenship is a core value at Andersen. For more than a century, Andersen has supported the communities where employees live and work through philanthropy and volunteerism with the mission to improve lives and strengthen communities.
