Andersen Donates $325,000 to Support Disaster Relief Efforts

Andersen Corporation and the Andersen Corporate Foundation are providing $325,000 in monetary support and product donations to help the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Maria, Irma and Harvey.

The Andersen Corporate Foundation announced a $50,000 donation to Americares to support Hurricane Maria humanitarian efforts. The Foundation will be donating $125,000 to the American Red Cross comprised of a $75,000 donation and $50,000 in employee matching grants.

Andersen Corporation is donating $150,000 of windows and doors to help Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties in North Fort Meyers, Florida and Houston Habitat for Humanity with repair and rebuilding efforts.

“The Andersen team is pleased to support the relief and rebuilding efforts of impacted communities following the unprecedented devastation of Hurricanes Maria, Irma and Harvey,” said Jay Lund, Andersen Chairman and CEO.

Americares is a non-profit disaster relief organization providing immediate response to emergency medical needs.

“Americares emergency response teams are delivering medicine and working to restore health services for Hurricane Maria survivors,” said Americares Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer Christine Squires. “This very generous gift from Andersen Corporate Foundation will allow us to help more families in Puerto Rico and Dominica recover from this catastrophic storm.”
