Central Dauphin School District
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
The Central Dauphin School District serves nearly 11,000 K-12 students in suburban Harrisburg. After launching a renovation project to improve energy efficiency, lighting and ventilation for eight elementary schools, district project leaders placed Andersen® windows at the top of the class. A "foursquare" window design was used to create a standardized yet flexible fenestration aesthetic. Energy, lighting and ventilation goals were met with Andersen® high performance insulating glass in operational awning units with durable, low-maintenance exterior cladding.
