California Eclectic Project
Southern California
The Spanish Colonial Revival home style has been evolving in Southern California for years. This home follows that trend but adds in some distinctly French Eclectic flavor for something totally unique. Outside, the clay roof, arched entranceways and stucco clearly root it in the Spanish Colonial Style. Once inside, the lines begin to blur as the ornate fireplace, stone window surrounds and ceiling stenciling pull the house toward the French countryside. Built on a hill, the large windows perfectly frame the view of the bay below. Smaller casement windows combine for that French window feel.
