Greater Des Moines Habitat Chapter Honors Andersen
For 13 years, Andersen and the Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity chapter have partnered to build quality, affordable homes in Iowa’s largest metro area.
On Oct. 4, Habitat leaders in Des Moines honored Andersen with its Key Award for our company’s support over the years. The Key Awards pay tribute to the outstanding efforts by the Habitat chapter’s partners in building homes, communities and hope.
Joe Pauley, vice president and general manager of our storm doors division, accepted the award on behalf of Andersen Corporation and the Andersen Corporate Foundation.
“You are making an enormous impact in providing decent, safe and affordable places to live, and we are excited to recognize your continued role in helping us serve even more families,” said Jenna Ekstrom, director of development and marketing at the Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity.
Andersen and the Andersen Corporate Foundation have donated more than $200,000 to the Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity chapter since 2005. Additionally, Andersen Corporation has donated more than 380 storm doors and multiple sets of windows, and countless volunteer hours to support Habitat’s work in Des Moines to improve the lives of those in need.
