25 Andersen Employees Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity's Women Build 2018

Twenty-five employees from Andersen Corporation volunteered July 24-25 at the 2018 Women Build with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.

The house being built is located in St. Paul, Minn., and will become a place to call home in late fall for LeAndra and her two daughters.

Employees had the pleasure of meeting LeAndra on Wednesday while installing siding on the two-story, three-bedroom house. She commented to the team, “I appreciate you ladies being out here!” She then elaborated on her current situation, which includes working two jobs, and expressed her gratitude for the Andersen® windows and for everyone who volunteered at the build.

“It was nice to have the opportunity to meet the homeowner,” said Sam Manzke, corporate security business partner at Andersen. “Seeing how happy she was made it that much more impactful.”

Beth Becker, director of Renewal by Andersen’s inside sales center, has volunteered multiple times at Habitat builds.

“It’s nice to get to know co-workers from different parts of the organization,” Beth said. “Andersen has been around for 115 years, and partnerships with community organizations such as Habitat for Humanity demonstrate our commitment to helping provide affordable housing.”
