Andersen Donates $75,000 to Support Hurricane Florence Relief Efforts

On behalf of the Andersen enterprise, the Andersen Corporate Foundation has made a $75,000 donation to the American Red Cross to help the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Florence. 

“Andersen is proud to support the work of the American Red Cross as they bring relief and hope to those affected by Hurricane Florence,” said Keith Olson, president of the Andersen Corporate Foundation.”

The Andersen Corporate Foundation has committed $75,000 in matching gifts for donations made to the American Red Cross during a telethon event held yesterday at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. In addition to the Foundation gift, Andersen Corporation will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for donations made by employees to the American Red Cross through October 19, 2018.

The Andersen Corporate Foundation aims to improve lives and strengthen communities. Since 1955, Andersen has donated more than $3 million to the American Red Cross, helping them provide compassionate care to those in need.

During disasters such as Hurricane Florence, the American Red Cross adapts resources to the needs of people affected including overnight shelters, distribution of emergency supplies, health and mental health contacts, meals, workers and emergency response vehicles.
