As an avid outdoors enthusiast with deep connections to Minnesota’s north woods, Krissie Mason was right at home when she found a spectacular property overlooking Lake Superior. She knew she wanted to build a cabin that was “uniquely her,” but not just for her. A place loved ones would “return to, not once, not twice, but hopefully, many times,” creating memories and forging deep connections to each other and the land. To bring this dream cabin to life, Mason took an extremely intentional approach, focusing on the right design and high-quality materials rather than square footage.
