Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion
After the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Andersen's Chairman and CEO Jay Lund joined more than 40 executive leaders from across the state to stand united against acts of racism and violence. Read the collective statement here.
A proud part of our culture is embracing individual differences and celebrating diversity. Some of these celebrations are highlighted below.
Employee Resource Networks
We strive for an environment where every person is safe, respected and can be their authentic self. Employees throughout the Andersen enterprise are welcome to join any of the many employee resource networks. These are voluntary, employee-led groups that encourage personal and professional development, promote diversity and drive company and individual growth through a network of employees leveraging their collective range of skills, talents and diverse perspectives. Members of employee resource networks typically share a common affinity such as allyship, ethnicity, gender, cultural identity, etc. Each ERN is sponsored by a member of Andersen’s Executive Committee.
African Descent Network (ADN) is dedicated to making Andersen an employer of choice for Black professionals and allies. ADN members are focused on attracting, retaining and developing top talent, and are committed to representing the Andersen brand through community engagement, volunteerism, and philanthropy.
Andersen Young Professionals Network supports the education, engagement, and connection of emerging employees through career development, mentoring, cross-functional networking, and learning opportunities.
PRIDE+ members support a fully equitable community at Andersen for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersex, asexual (LGBTQIA) people and allies.
With a purpose to empower, support and inspire women in their career and lives, the Women Leaders of Andersen support the development and advancement of women. Members aim to influence a culture of parity, create allies for women, connect women to build meaningful networks and give back to support the communities where we live and work.
The Asian Pacific Islander employee resource network aims to foster professional development, networking opportunities and discuss issues of interest to the larger Asian and Pacific Islander community within Andersen.
Our Military Connections employee resource network helps to lead initiatives and assist with identifying resources and support for our veterans, active military employees and their families.
Members of the South Asian employee resource network are dedicated to inclusivity and raising awareness of Indian and South Asian culture.
