Contractors looking for an added advantage in today’s competitive market are getting just that from Andersen Windows.
Intelligent Estimate, a free software tool from Andersen, delivers fast, detailed and accurate “whole project” construction estimates for trade professionals.
Covering all building products – not just windows and doors – Intelligent Estimate helps contractors create project estimates, proposals, requests for bid, purchase and work orders, labor reports, material lists and other project documents. It also features several service tools to help builders and remodelers better manage jobs and increase productivity.
The software, available online here, is pre-loaded with construction item lists and cost information, and is updated regularly so contractors have the most current information available. Navigation follows the order of a construction job and all user data is stored online for increased data security and universal access from any computer.
“Intelligent Estimate is designed to improve efficiency and organization associated with the day-to-day activities of contractors,” said Craig Blomker, marketing manager at Andersen. “It’s one of the ways we’re looking beyond windows and doors to see how we can deliver more value to our customers’ business.”
Andersen has developed other proprietary software programs to help customers. These include Andersen Intelligent Quote (iQ) software, a quote and order tool for dealers; Window Studio® software, a professional window design program for architects and designers; the Design Pressure Estimator and Impact Product Finder, a specification tool designed to help architects and builders find the right products for coastal applications; and the WindowCentrics Wall Planner, an online window design tool for consumers.
