With the inclusion of Eagle Entranceways, customers have the opportunity to use Eagle’s extensive array of options and design flexibility to create a complementary look for the most impact-filled opening in a home, the entranceway.
Eagle Entranceways offer both rectangular and arched entranceways in panel options that include straightline, arts & crafts, archtop, extended half circle and gothic & elliptical. All wood (interior and exterior) or aluminum-clad (exterior) wood doors are available, in addition to sidelites and transoms, creating an entranceway that is sure to leave a lasting first impression.
Wood species for Eagle Entranceways include complimentary pine with optional species of fir, oak, maple, walnut, alder, hickory, cherry and African mahogany. Custom wood species may also be available. All species can be matched on interiors and exteriors, varied on both sides or combined with an optional aluminum-clad exterior in our 50 Eagle Complimentary Colors™ and custom colors.
Product Details include:
Brickmold. Seven widths of exterior entranceway brickmold and 12 profiles are available in all wood species. Curved and lineal options are also available. Select aluminum-clad brickmold options are available to match entranceways with clad exteriors.
Interior Casing. Options include 28 profiles of entranceway casings in all available wood species. Curved and lineal options are also available.
Hardware. An optional multi-point locking system is available. Entranceways can be pre-drilled for Eagle handle sets. Hardware finishes include lifetime brass, antique brass, oil-rubbed bronze, pewter, satin chrome, bright chrome, white, black, stainless steel and polished brass. Handle styles are available in Capri, Athens, Bellagio, Luxor, Normandy, Piedmont, Riviera and Tuscany. Or after-market hardware can be purchased separately.
Escutcheon plates are available in contoured or square styles. Standard ball bearing hinges are available in stainless steel, white, polished brass or oil-rubbed bronze.
Glass. High-Performance™ Low-E4® glass is complimentary. Other glass options are also available. Choose a decorative glass design or create a custom design with colored, beveled, frosted, etched or other specialty glass and caming options of brass, nickel, patina or zinc.
Divided Lights. Modern Divided Lights® feature fixed interior and exterior grilles with a spacer between the glass panes. Classic Divided Lights remove the internal spacer. Removable wood grilles are installed on the interior surface and are available with an optional wood surround and exterior grille. Choose a popular pattern or create a custom pattern.
Aluminum exterior grilles and wood grilles for both interiors and exterior are available in four widths: 3/4'', 7/8'', 1-1/8'' and 1-1/2''.
Inswing Door Sill Options. Inswing sills are available in solid wood or extruded aluminum with solid wood thresholds. Sill options include solid African mahogany, solid oak, aluminum mill or anodized bronze.
Outswing Door Sill Options. Outswing sills are made of extruded aluminum with solid oak thresholds. Sill finishes include aluminum mill or anodized bronze. A low profile sill option is also available.
Heights & Widths. Two standard heights (6' 8'' and 8' 0'') and two standard widths (3' 0'' and 3' 6'') are available for most doors. Custom heights and widths are also available.
Panel Thickness. Choose from two panel thicknesses – 1-3/4'' and optional 2-1/4''.
Jamb Depths. Standard 4-9/16'', 5-1/4'', 6-9/16'' and 7-1/8'' jamb depths are available to match the thickness of most walls. Custom jamb depths are also available.
Panels. Engineered timber stiles and rails in the door panels provide strength and durability. Exterior panel moldings are standard on most panels. Optional raised moldings are also available on panel interiors and exteriors for added visual definition and style.
Weather Strip. Flexible foam weather stripping around the door perimeter, combined with a sweep watershed on the bottom of the panel, help resist wind and water. Outswing doors include an additional rain skirt for greater protection against wind-driven rain.
