“This introduction provides builders and remodelers a rot- and termite-resistant, weather-resistant, value-priced patio door from a brand they can trust,” said Shawn Aherns, window and door marketing manager at Andersen. “We’ve listened to our customers and have engineered this patio door with the features and benefits they’ve requested of us for this type of product. It’s all there.”
The new Andersen 200 Series hinged inswing patio door is unlike many competitive products and is designed as a complete system that includes the door panels, frame, hardware and lock mechanism. It is available in an inswing style in both single and double panel configurations. In two panel units, there is one operating panel and one stationary panel. Andersen 200 Series hinged inswing patio doors are available in multiple widths in 6’8” and 6’11” heights.
The new patio door panel features sturdy glass fiber construction along with an exterior aluminum frame for long-lasting performance and attractive appearance while minimizing maintenance. The interior and exterior color is white, and can be painted to match the home’s décor.
Other design details include Andersen® High-Performance™ Low-E or Low-E Sun tempered glass for increased energy efficiency, adjustable hinges and durable full-perimeter weatherstripping, a “rain drain” sill to channel water away from the home, and attractive Andersen® Metro™ hardware available in two styles and multiple finishes. Colonial pattern removable interior grilles and Finelight™ grilles-between-the-glass are also available to add extra style.
