Factory-Applied Hinges in 10 Finishes
Andersen now offers factory-applied hinges for 400 Series Frenchwood® inswing patio doors in 10 finishes to coordinate with its three hardware design collections. This addition helps 400 Series patio doors better complement various architectural styles, home decors and personal tastes by offering a coordinated hardware package. The factory-application of hinges on Andersen 400 Series patio doors saves customers installation time and helps provide better alignment with hinged patio door panels and frames.
Hinge finishes include bright brass, antique brass, polished chrome, brushed chrome, satin nickel, oil rubbed bronze, distressed nickel, distressed bronze, white and brass tone.
New Folding Window Hardware
New for 2007 is the addition of traditional and contemporary folding casement and awning window hardware styles. Designed to minimize the appearance of hardware once installed, these new handles also help prevent interference with blinds and window coverings. They are available in white and stone colors.
Half Insect Screens
Half insect screens are now available for Andersen® 400 Series tilt-wash double-hung windows. Choose from TruScene® high-transparency or standard aluminum insect screen cloth, to allow thorough ventilation without affecting the view through the upper sash. Half insect screens also enhance curb appeal by minimizing the visibility of the screen from the exterior. This is a desired option when divided lights are used in the upper sash.
