Extension jambs are added to the interior jamb of a window to create a consistent wood transition between the window unit and interior trim. They are available in a variety of depths to accommodate different window jamb dimensions and wall thicknesses.

- If your wall thickness is 4-1/2" - no extension jambs are required
- If your wall thickness is 4-1/8" - reverse existing flanges on window, no extension jambs required
- If your wall thickness is 5-1/4" - specify 5-1/4" extension jambs (field applied)
- If your wall thickness is 6-9/16" - specify 6-9/16" extension jambs (field applied)
- If your wall thickness is 7-1/8" - specify 7-1/8" extension jambs (field applied)
- Other wall thicknesses can be accomodated by trimming extension jambs to fit.
- Some extension jamb sizes may be wood veneer.
