“There is a natural alignment between our Research Develop and Innovation and Supply Chain Services areas. Holly’s leadership will create an integrated supplier strategy that combines our technology direction with our supplier capacity.”
-Jay Lund, CEO
BAYPORT, Minn. - Andersen Corporation today announced the promotion of Holly Boehne to chief technology officer and Jerry Redmond to president of its Andersen Division. The changes are part of an organizational realignment following the planned retirement of Senior Vice President and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer Craig Evanich.
Holly Boehne: Boehne joined Andersen in September 2004 as senior vice president of Research, Development and Innovation. Her experience spans engineering, product development and commercialization, operations and lean management. In this new role, Boehne adds responsibility for Supply Chain Services. Prior to joining Andersen, Boehne served in leadership roles with Ecolab and Pillsbury. Boehne earned her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
“There is a natural alignment between our Research Develop and Innovation and Supply Chain Services areas,” said Andersen Corporation Chairman, President and CEO Jay Lund. “Holly’s leadership will create an integrated supplier strategy that combines our technology direction with our supplier capacity.”
“After thirteen years with Andersen, Craig will be missed. He successfully transformed Renewal by Andersen from a concept to an industry leader in window replacement. He set the direction for the business, built a talented team, and created a strong company-owned and affiliate network,”Lund added. “Then he took on an additional challenge with our traditional business along with Sales and Marketing, where he’s made a significant impact.”
Andersen Corporation will now be comprised of three divisions: Andersen, Silver Line and Renewal by Andersen. The Andersen Division includes its architectural collection, storm doors, and Andersen® wood clad and composite windows and patio doors. This change brings a stronger focus and accountability to the company’s three main businesses.
Jerry Redmond: Redmond joined the company as senior vice president of Operations and Supply Chain Management in 2007 with responsibility for manufacturing, order management, logistics and procurement. Since then, he has integrated the supply chain, driven the Andersen Management System into manufacturing, and improved safety, quality and customer service. Prior to Andersen, Redmond headed Whirlpool Corporation’s business in Mexico as its general director and as general manager in Canada. Redmond earned his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering at Mississippi State University and a master’s of business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
“Jerry’s extensive knowledge and expertise make him the ideal leader for our new Andersen Division and he has been instrumental in helping us to successfully manage through the recession,” said Lund.
