1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Open and offered only to homeowners who are legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia ("DC"), who are 18 years or older as of 05/14/2007. Employees and directors of Andersen Corporation ("Sponsor"), Arrowhead Promotion & Fulfillment Co., Inc. ("Administrator"), and their parent entities, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion or production agencies, web masters and web suppliers, (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members [children, spouse, parents, siblings] and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes begins on 5/14/2007 and ends on 10/31/2007 ("Promotion Period").
2. HOW TO ENTER: There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes. (1) Online Entry: Visit www.andersenwindows.com/TruScene and follow the directions for completing and submitting the online Official Entry Form. Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on 5/14/2007. Online entries must be received no later than 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 10/31/2007. OR (2) Mail-in Entry: Hand print your complete name, address (no P.O. Boxes, except in ND), city, state, zip code, birth date (mm/dd/yyyy), daytime telephone number, email address (optional), what type of project you wish to complete, and the timing you would like to complete your project by, on a 3" x 5" card. Mail your entry in a separate, first-class stamped envelope to: Andersen Windows TruScene® Insect Screen Sweepstakes, PO Box 8008, Grand Rapids, MN 55745-8008. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by 10/31/2007 and received by 11/5/2007. Limit one entry per household regardless of entry method.
3. RANDOM DRAWING: One Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about 11/15/2007 from among all eligible online and mail-in entries received. Drawing will be conducted by Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winner will be notified by telephone, postal mail, and/or e-mail.
4. PRIZE/ODDS/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV"): One (1) Grand Prize: $25,000.00 worth of Andersen® window products, including Andersen TruScene® insect screens and installation services. TOTAL ARV: $25,000.00. Prize is subject to Sponsor's standard warranties, terms and conditions. Restrictions may apply. Grand Prize winner will be responsible for selecting a contractor for the ordering and installation of windows. The contractor will be required to order Andersen product and provide the installation services. The Grand Prize shall not exceed $25,000.00, and the total installation service charges shall not exceed fifty-percent (50%) of the total value awarded. Prize must be used within one (1) year of awarding of such prize. Prize consists of only the items specifically listed as part of the prize. All expenses, including any federal, state, or local taxes, not specifically set forth in these Official Rules are winner's sole responsibility. Prize cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted, or redeemed for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with prize of equal or greater value, should any prize become unavailable or otherwise in Sponsor's sole discretion. Odds of winning are dependent on the total number of entries received.
5. GENERAL RULES: Sponsor, Administrator, and their respective agencies are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer hardware or software or other technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online regardless of cause. Once submitted, entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Administrator's computer will be the official time clock for the Sweepstakes. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all entries affected by such methods and be deemed tampering. Entry material/data that has been tampered with or altered is void. The potential Grand Prize winner (or winner's parent or legal guardian if winner is deemed a minor in the state of his/her residency) is required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and Publicity Release (where legal) within fourteen (14) days of notification. If documents are not returned on a timely basis, or if prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
Entrants entering online must provide a valid e-mail address. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel/suspend/modify the online portion of the Sweepstakes if it becomes corrupted in any manner such that it cannot be conducted as originally planned and in such event, to select a winner by random drawing from all eligible online entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor, and all mail-in entries received. In case of dispute as to identity of a winner who entered online, entry will be declared made by the registered user of the e-mail account, and, if the prize is won and such registered user is a valid entrant, the prize will be awarded to the registered user. Neither Sponsor, Administrator, nor their respective agencies, or affiliates are responsible for lost, late, damaged, destroyed, delayed, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or postage due entries. Entrants (or entrant's parent or legal guardian, if entrant is deemed a minor in the state of his/her residency), by participating in this Sweepstakes, hereby waive and release, and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, Administrator, its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, licensors, advertising and promotion agencies, web masters and web suppliers, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees and representatives and agents, from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death, and /or property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or their participation in this Sweepstakes, or any prize-related activity. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants (or entrant's parent or legal guardian if entrant is deemed a minor in the state of his/her residency) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, winner (or winner's parent or legal guardian if winner is deemed a minor in the state of his/her residency) agrees that Sponsor and its related and affiliated companies may use the winner's name, address (city, state), photograph, videotape, likeness, and/or prize information for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes, and may use statements made by or attributed to winner relating to Sponsor, its related and affiliated companies or this Sweepstakes, and grants to Sponsor and its related and affiliated companies any and all rights to said use without further notice and/or compensation except where prohibited by law.

7. WINNER LIST: For a the name of the Grand Prize winner, send a self-addressed stamped business-size (#10) envelope to: Andersen Windows TruScene® Insect Screen Winner, P.O. Box 8030-WL, Grand Rapids, MN 55745-8030, to be received by 04/30/2008.
